From the United States, Kara trained at the School of the Grand Rapids Ballet Company and was a private student of world-renowned ballerina Gaiane Akopian, studying Vaganova method. She has performed as both a classical and contemporary dancer across the United States. She was a member of Cleveland’s Verb Ballets Contemporary Dance Company where she danced a dynamic repertoire, including Martha Graham’s Appalachian Spring, Heinz Poll’s Eight by Benny Goodman and the title role in Richard Dickenson’s Carmen.
